Episode: The Mitch Factor

So rumour has it that Mitch Buchannon is still on the run but due to technical difficulties he is stuck in a pub located somewhere in London.

We’ve used the latest tracking technology and reckon the Mitre is where he will be hiding. Sources suggest that he will be in the premises on Tuesday (tonight) 24th August from 6.30pm. Hopefully see you there!

It looks like we’ve lost Mitch Buchannon. My sources tell me he’ll be in the Strongroom Bar, 6:30pm tonight, Monday 28th June 2010. All American Beers. We’d better get there for then.

Episode #20: Rendezvous

Episode 20 of LRUG Nights will take place on Tuesday, March 30th 2010.

The week after the Scottish Ruby Conference there’ll be a few visiting rubyists coming through London on their way home. A few of them have got in touch and so we’ve arranged a special LRUG Nights to meet up with them. We’ll be spending the night in The Harrison Bar, starting at 6:30pm.

Come along if you want to say hi and get the low-down of the conference if you missed it, or continue the conference socializing if you did go. Mitch might even make an appearance if he get’s done dealing with an embezzling wife and her murderous husband.

Episode #19: Epilogue

Episode 19 of LRUG Nights will take place on Wednesday January 6th 2010.

Our normal meetings will be changing venue starting with the January meeting, and so we need to find a new post-meeting pub. This extra-special LRUG Nights is tasked with that mission. We’ll start at 6:30pm in our old drinking den The Crown to say goodbye to it, and then it’s off to the areas surrounding our new venue to seek out a replacement. Chances are we’ll checkout a few of the pubs in these areas:

Come along if you want to help our mission (and indulge in some ruby chat). Mitch won’t be there as he’s dealing with some step-father based murder investigation.

Episode #18: Vengeance

A prison escapee vows to kill everyone associated with his conviction. Garner was one of the arresting officers.

The escapee is flying in on Tuesday 21st July. To ensure he can’t get his bloody revenge, we’re going to hide out upstairs in “The Ship” near Monument tube station.

A geisha girl is kidnapped and her small daughter sought by the kidnappers. Mitch and the child’s grandfather protect her and attempt to rescue her mom.

I say we take the kid and her gramps and hole up in the pub. They’ll never find us there.

Meet at “The Old Red Lion Theatre” in Angel at 6pm, Thursday 4nd June and we’ll lay low for the evening with the aid of some beers.

I’m back in the arms of London, and I find out 3 of my Yachts have been taken from the club, a tasty blonde (whom I’m willing to share) has led me to believe the solicitor is the proprietor of the Porterhouse in Covent Garden.

I’m proposing a long probed attack, and I will arrange for a seating area in which to conduct our stake out under the moniker of ‘Randy McManahue’, or the initials RMM.

The agreed date for this rendezvous is Wednesday 1st April (that will fool her).
